CMIT ES PTO stands with all PGCPS public charter schools to request the PGCPS Board of Education and the Superintendent do not increase the administrative costs charged to charter schools from 2% to more than 6%.

CMIT Schools and other Charter Schools in the County are asking:
That the PGCPS Board of Education to collaborate with all Charter School operators to hear from them their concerns about funding
That the PGCPS Board of Education equitably apply SPED overages to Charter Schools
That the PGCPS Board of Education maintains the 2% cap on administrative overhead expenses charged to Charter schools
That there be transparency in funding and revenue share calculations

Please consider testifying to the Board of Education on behalf of Charter schools across the county by following these steps:
[1] Complete this Google form to register to testify: Google Form. This closes in advance of the meeting. The form opens 4 days prior to each meeting.
[2] If you are submitting pre-recorded video or written testimony, you can email it to testimony@pgcps.org
[3] Meet us at the meeting in your spirit wear, orange, blue or green.
Join us at the next PGCPS Board of Education Working Meeting as we appeal to the Board and communicate our concerns. YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS
We suggest you arrive around 6:30pm to park and walk in.
